But it cannot really protect the circuit board, waterproof and shockproof, and the package may fail after a long time. The advantages of glue filling-PCBA potting
a. After the PCBA processing and dispensing process is completed, the product is moisture-proof, waterproof, weather-resistant, and can be used for a long time.
b. It does not corrode metal and is suitable for potting and sealing of PCBA board modules.
c. The colloid is flexible and has good resistance to shock, shock and deformation.
d. High insulation, stable operation of products after potting.
e. Good fluidity, quick self-leveling, high potting production efficiency.
f. With detachability, a certain component of the sealed circuit board can be taken out for repair and replacement, and then repaired with waterproof glue without leaving traces.
Use anhydrous alcohol and a hard brush to scrub and clean the PCBA board, especially the rosin residues and solder residues at the solder joints.
Use a dryer or hot air cylinder to dry the PCBA board, and then carefully check it again after drying to see if there are obvious solder joints, short-circuit solder joints, and solder slag residue.
c. Coating waterproof glue
Brush the PCBA board with a brush for the waterproof glue, or dip the PCBA board into the waterproof glue once, and then wait for the waterproof glue to solidify. It takes more than 12 hours to dry naturally before proceeding to the next process.
d. Functional test
Perform a functional test on the PCBA. After the abnormally tested board is repaired, the waterproof glue circuit board processing and dispensing process will be carried out from the third step. If it is normal, it will go to the next step.
Fill the entire PCBA board to the shell part with epoxy resin/silicone/glue stick, etc., fix the wiring and seal it, and be careful not to have dead corners, and the glue should be as smooth and beautiful as possible.
It takes more than 24 hours. After completion, according to the actual situation, random inspection or full inspection of the circuit board to confirm whether the function is normal.
