PCB( Printed   Circuit   Board), the Chinese name is printed circuit board. Because it is made by electronic printing, it is also called “printed” circuit board.

The creator of PCB is Austrian Paul Eisler(   Paul   eisler)。 In 1936, he first used printed circuit boards in radios. In 1943, Americans mostly applied this technology to military radios. In 1948, the United States officially recognized that the invention  used for commercial purposes. Printed circuit boards  widely used since the mid-1950s. Printed circuit boards will appear in every electronic device. If there are electronic parts in a certain device, they will  embedde on PCBs of different sizes. The main function of PCB is to make various electronic components form the connection of predetermined circuits. PCB has the function of transmission and is the key electronic interconnect of electronic products. In addition, it  also known as the “mother of electronic products”.

PCB(printed   circuit   Board, or printed circuit board for short, is one of the important components of the electronic industry. Almost every kind of electronic equipment, from electronic watches and calculators to computers, communication electronic equipment and military weapon systems. As long as there are electronic components such as integrated circuits, printed boards should be used in order to make the electrical interconnection between various components. The printed circuit board is composed of an insulating base plate, connecting wires and pads for assembling and welding electronic components. It has the dual functions of conductive line and insulating base plate. PCB  can replace the complex wiring and realize the electrical connection between the components in the circuit.

Printed circuit board has good product consistency. It can adopt standardized design, which is conducive to mechanization and automation in the production process. Printed circuit boards were first used as paper-based copper-clad printed boards. Since the emergence of semiconductor transistors in the 1950s, the demand for printed boards has increased sharply. Especially with the rapid development and wide application of integrated circuits, the volume of electronic equipment is becoming smaller and smaller. The density and difficulty of circuit wiring are increasing, which requires the printed board to  update continuously.

At present, the variety of printed boards has developed from single panel to double-sided board, multilayer board and flexible board; The structure and quality have also developed to the degree of ultra-high density, miniaturization and high reliability; New design methods, design supplies, plate making materials and plate making processes are emerging. In recent years, the application software of various computer aided design (CAD) printed circuit boards has  popularized and popularized in the industry. Among specialized printed circuit board manufacturers, mechanized and automatic production has completely replaced manual operation.

As the most common substrate / substrate material of PCB, FR-4 usually exists in many electronic devices and is also the most common intelligent manufacturing. 4: Application of PCB in automobile and aerospace industry
